The Fish Site was founded by 5M Enterprises Ltd. which was owned by Benchmark Holdings.

Hatch Blue acquired the Fish Site in May 2020 with the intention of increasing the flow of information within the aquaculture industry. With a focus on innovation and sustainable food production, Hatch Blue hopes to further increase the Fish Site’s international reach by continuing the delivery of unique, high-quality content to its readers.
